For this reason, Business Model Canvas is recognized as a useful tool for business enterprises but still does not fully break through to the hearts of the social enterprises that embed their social goal in their business objective (Mathew, 2008).
Me-Mind project has embraced the challenges of measuring the socio-economic impact of Cultural and Creative Industries (CCIs) and of creating a replicable methodology so as to transfer the knowledge to other CCIs by piloting two use cases in the cultural sector: the Estonian National Museum as permanent exhibition and the Internet Festival of Pisa as event.
Business Model Canvas can help us in reaching both the objectives, but Me-Mind project aims even higher: we will build a revised business model canvas to fit the unique needs of CCIs.
Stay tuned!
